All the usual Government rebates and incentives STILL APPLY to solar hot water systems , including the Federal Government $1000 Solar Rebate to upgrade from electric storage to a normal solar HWS ($600 Solar Rebate for Heat Pumps).

In fact, if you upgraded from an Electric Storage HWS to a 300 ltr Edwards Gas Boosted Solar HWS, you could save around $2600 in State and Federal Government Rebates and Incentives (even more if it was an LPG Gas Boosted Solar HWS).
